Request a QuotationService Overview
Cryopreserved oocytes may be the result of a patient’s own fertility preservation or part of a donor egg program. In either case, they must be maintained at stable cryogenic conditions and handed over with precise documentation at every stage.
CryoGene Global coordinates oocyte shipments end to end. We align requirements with the sending facility, whether a clinic or an egg bank, and the receiving clinic, prepare transportation documentation, plan the route, and assign a dedicated courier who accompanies the dry shipper for the entire journey.
Requirements for importing and exporting oocytes, particularly donor oocytes, differ between countries. Every route is assessed individually so that the shipment proceeds in compliance with the legal requirements of both the origin and destination.

Oocyte Transportation FAQ
Can you transport donor eggs from an egg bank?
Yes. We coordinate directly with the egg bank or donor clinic and the recipient’s clinic to align documentation, timing, and handover, wherever the transfer is permitted by local laws and regulations.
How are oocytes kept at the required temperature?
Oocytes travel in a YDH-3 cryogenic dry shipper that maintains them in nitrogen vapor at approximately −196°C. A data logger connected to a smartphone application continuously records conditions throughout the journey.
Does a courier travel with the oocytes?
Yes. Always. Every shipment is hand-carried by a dedicated courier who keeps the dry shipper under continuous supervision from collection to final handover at the receiving clinic.
What information do you need for a quotation?
